Appreance as a yardstick for beauty is perhaps the most foolish thing one can do.. I did that in my youth, but now as I grow old, I truly understand the meaning of the saying that 'beauty is skin deep'... ____ P: S: Your poem reminded me of Octavio Paz's wonderful poem No More Clichés..
