The Mountain And The Hill Poem by Orin MSH

The Mountain And The Hill

The mountain boasts such giddy heights
The hill is scorned for lacking in might
The mountain man herds his wild goats
And breathing hard, we hear him spoke
"You two are such cruel goading friends
Who should have stopped the silly talks
The empty bickering that never ends
While thunder breaks the skies and halts
The gaudy birds, all beasts and fowls
The slanderous words, horrid and foul
Why not make peace and stop the fight
For two minds are not always right"
