The Mountain Poem by keith brown

The Mountain

If you stand at the foot of the mountain
and have no desire to climb
Is that too ignore life?
Are you contained by your fear?
Afraid to venture or wage some loss?
The road too the summit is fraught with unknown dangers and reward
Love, hope desire and the minds greatest imaginings
All possible, yes.
Yet none can climb without a the least scrapping a knee,
a bruised heart or worse.
Still, the price is never too high.

The view from the top is heart stopping.
