This beautiful poem justifies its title. Not a single stanza but all stanzas are my favorites. However, I was arrested at your wonderful finishing. A marvelous composition.

Oh my word but this one speaks to our souls, Mj. There's love and wistfulness, wisdom and folly, regret and thanksgiving all tangled together just like in life. This is what writing is all about- a moment of sublimity. Which we pursue poem after poem! Onto my fav list where it will sit with so many of your greats. Top marks, of course.

Sometimes, in life, the most beautiful, is just a little spark that fades away too quickly. A fleeting moment, so wondrous yet so elusive. Wonderful poem MJ.......10 .

Life is one of sorrows and joys! Whether we accept them or not, they invariably happen in our life! Nothing lasts for long. Life's journey is at once smooth and turbulent.Whatever it be, we have to live on! Profound reflections on life!

Thank you so much, Valsa. You make such a profound point....and there are times when we really have trouble telling the calm from the storm. Thanks again.

This poem is so artistic. I have been reading it again and again. We are really a clay if we let pass a moment without a touch of our emotions and feelings. May be some would consider it a highest unperturbed state of mind but for most of us it would be life empty.

Absolutely! A moment of inaction, hesitation, can turn our intangible self into clay. Thank you so very much, Savita.

Beginning with an attractive stanza you have so nicely and touchingly inscribed this love poem with nice diction. I quote.... As I rush past, you stop you- tranquil, free; I feel in control but where senses angle inward Thanks for sharing.

A great poem so beautifully penned. The wonder on earth, the most beautiful being blossoms in shadows fleeting with one too arrested, unseeing Loved this stanza so much.

Unwritten Soul 06 June 2017

When i read it, it has specific rhythm..and the words brought me some picture what i refer as unseen but beautiful feeling in mind...the acceptance, feeling alive than just a body, the direction of the emotion...are things that you boldly here vividly than other poems that talked about love..it definition and sensation you deliver here..loved it.. Here i keep some sunlight in a jar for you my friend, may it glow lights at night so u can see how beautiful the feeling is, even it is unseen..friendship is unseen but exist!

' honoured and cherished- in absentia the clay is clay. Its life courses through corridors not sanguine but imperturbable' the rush of timing and weight importance afixed to the clay, sense and sensability, or sight eye candy stimulus

A profoundly beautiful poem that transcends us to the astral world where many an artiste has visited. To visit return and share is the ultimate. I'm not saying that's the case here, but having been there myself, that's the way it feels. Thank you for the transcendence.
