The Moon - A Paradox Poem by Ajit Saigal

The Moon - A Paradox

Rating: 5.0

Come year 1969,
and a Giant leap to the Moon said it all.
The Paradox goes on and on...

He still is the all Elusive Esoteric Symbol,
the token of an illusive Wayward Mind n an ecstatic Soulful Heart.
The Paradox goes on and on...

For the beholder he seems to be well adorned,
dressed up in the diamond studded attire of a star filled night sky.

He's always beaming with the cool radiance of brilliance,
the Glare so intense with universal mirth n refreshing hopes.

Although well aware of it, little do we want to realize,
he's more of a Desolated lot, Parched off by intense heat n biting cold.

He looks so very bright, pepped up and replenished,
but a closer peep O God, reveals gaping scars and utter barreness.

Let the paradox go on and on and the esoterics enthrall...
he will always shine bright n excite cool minds until existence exists.

I have started from where the paradox actually gets nailed to leave bigger scars....
