The Monsters Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

The Monsters

The Monsters

The monsters,
It became parts as you andme,

We've been in each other's presences,
every instance of the world
we have created,

Have trudged
and learned nothing
are still discovering,

To every tree's alignments to
the surroundings,

To our ark's determination,
redeemed motherhoods,
unclaimed fatherhood's,
each son's mistakes,
And the clan's journey,

It was spurned
from the naked beginnings,
Encountersspikes by fate'saggression,

Enforce by laborsof isolations,
Innate fears,
disconnected furor's,
until the very last hour,

It's still breathing inside
the unhealed wounds,
