I do not know who the poem is written about, but I am imressed about him, as well as the poet describing him so succinctly. The last two lines: 'Now he no longer casts his pearls before swine. He just sits back and imbibes his vintage wine! ' - Are so interesting and meaningful!
Thanks guys, although it was inspired by Wilhelm Reich, it's basically about a fictional character who is imbued with genius, but rejected by the society in which he lives. It seems to be a recurrent theme throughout the ages....hope this helps clear things up.
Dominic poem inspired by a radical figure that touches the human mind indeed. Heard about him though not really truly enlightened. Still a fine poem that resonates for any reader. 10++ and added to my thoughts alone favs. Take care. And thank you for writing and sharing your homage/dedication poem.
