The Misadventure Of A Bruised Ego
Gave it your best shot
But better man won
Biden fair and square
Through democracy
In land of the free
Victory defeat
In golf game of life
You missed the damn (w) hole
You screwed the eagle
Kissed birdie good-bye
You're no champion
And you're no loser
And yet, somewhere deep
In your shattered mind
Lies a bruised ego
Always on Alert
Ready to damn fly
Fly like an eagle
It's time to free it
Brilliant, Richard. I think these will indeed be interesting times. I think the coming decade (or longer) will be challenging, to say the least. What's going on in the land of eagles is a stalemate.I keep looking south and thinking, 'this will not end well.'

Pt 2...Perhaps the next year or so will be a respite but, and I'm sure when the Eagle vacates the White House many will believe, all will seem well. Then, slowly, will come the realization that there will be problems...problems waiting...Brilliant write, Richard.
