The Miracle Of Life Poem by Yousif Ibrahim Abubaker Abdalla

The Miracle Of Life

I whirled so hard to meet you, beloved, mother but war was an obstacle.
It gashed our hearts to divest you,
You did not go alone,
For a hunk of us went with you,
But now my heart is splitting because you are no longer here with us.
When I imagine your courteous heart, mama and all those doting lifespans.
Your memories girdled me, and I can't hold back the tears.
You truly were my best well-wisher,
Eminence I could whisper in,
You always had a green embrace
trepidation and mellow grin.
Endless love and blessings, mummy.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM: I'm a big fan of poetry, literature, and different forms of art. Composing poems is the only outlet for me to express my feelings and cope with life's ups and downs. I devote my spare time to writing, performing, and enjoying poetry at different events and slams. The poem was written on 19th of December 2024. This poem captures that I was blessed to have my beautiful mother. She was the kind of mother who lived for her children & whoever needed her. She was loved and was missed dearly by everyone who knew her.
