The Mind Of A Novice Poet (Part 2) Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

The Mind Of A Novice Poet (Part 2)

The wealth is my marvel
Eager to discover
A rich new world
Confused yet I am
At the novel expedition
With no heralding flag

Great excitement conscripts my heart
At this great discovery
Though with no tutelage
Trickles in drops onset
Begin to freely flow
Of its own accord
To herald a time that is due
For a new direction
The abyss of inspiration

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When I started writing poems, I did not know the components or elements of poetry. Based on what I see, hear, feel or experienced, the words just formed in my head and I put them down the way they come with little adjustments.
