The Many Lost Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

The Many Lost

Pandering both sides against the middle,
duplicity won the day
To neither stand nor then be chased,
the coward has his way
Stealing the peace, betraying the war,
to live is then to die
The one from the many, the many now lost
—shame the binding tie
