I liked this senryu and the clever way you worked a five syllable word into it, Sandra. However Pretense is spelled wrong, which is a minor error, but in the third senryu verse, you used a contraction 'won't, ' which is forbidden in both haiku and senryu. No contractions, abbreviations or nicknames are permitted. I don't think hypenated words are either. Carl.
