The Man With The Violin, a story-poem, a prose poem
The man with the violin composed
years ago his own song,
he is from East Berlin and starts playing along the streets
so many many years ago till today,
he is still playing,
now he is talking to a man named Jesus,
this violinist also sees Zacheus
for Zacheus is not tall he has to climb a tree
so he can follow the conversation with Jesus.
Where are you from? the violin man asked.
From Jerusalem.
Jerusalem? ! That far?
Yes, Jesus says, I have so many things to do,
this conversation will be a short one.
The violonist smiles,
meanwhile he takes a glimpse at Zaccheus.
Zaccheus was still there in that tree,
having watched Jesus curing a lame man,
this man could never walk for many years,
today he is cured by Jesus.
What medicine?
Jesus looks at the violonist, what medicine?
Jesus continues: I only tell the lame man to walk
and all of a sudden he starts to walk,
he is so very happy,
for years constantly in bed
and being helped when he wants to go to outside,
now he can walk on his own.
Meanwhile Zaccheus climbs off the tree and says:
that is a miracle,
one of the greatest miracle in The Holy Bible,
don't you know that?
The musicman said: No.
Zaccheus continued:
'Now, start to read the Bible, you can buy that in any shop.
It's never too late learn about those miracles and that Jesus has done all the miracles as you will read in the Bible'.
I am very sad to know that all Christians in Iran are killed,
because they are Christians than being a Moslem,
they all have fled to the Netherlands.
The saddest thing of all is
they have left behind their hearths and home.

A beautiful and moving poem. How wonderful it has been crafted from the pen of a great messenger of God's words.
Yes Zaccheus himself being transformed was a great miracles. And then lame walking another one. Indeed. Miracles are possible as jesus showed. Refreshing Sylvia.
A great spiritual write. Very enlightening. Top Marks and to my Poem List.
Liked how the brilliant Poetess imbued some events worth mentioning in the ultimate stanza of the poem.
Wonderful spiritual write that focuses on the works and miracles of Jesus. So brilliantly conveyed and presented.
Those names Jesus, Zaccheus you can find in The Holy Bible, very inspiring stories abut the greatest miracles Jesus has done during his life on earth
