A sad but well articulated narrative piece of poetry, nicely penned with insight. A good depiction of the hope and anxiety, which some children go through in their state of abandonment occasioned by walking away of a parent or both. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Aidan. A wonderful poem, Aidan. My only criticism is that the title should be: The man he USED to know.
