The Malaysia Way. Poem by SY Wong ...

The Malaysia Way.

I am thinking; 'What should I have for lunch? '
Some holy chicken spent a lifetime in a tent, I am eating?
Served as food, cook in Emperor Sauce from China?

Then I thought; 'What is for for dinner? ' Again!
While my burp still contains the curry flavoured noodles
Baked potatoes maybe, with a piece of steak, slightly charred or half cooked not larger than a small box?
O..Whatever! I am old!

True, my burp still reminds me of the bowl of spicy curry noodles..

Why should I bend over to slurp? ..Or rather to fight
The equatorial heat, together with a nastiest humidity ever!

Fight it over, with things like chillies and spices!

Chillies!
O come on, not 'chiles'!

Food is important
Food should be tasty and versatile
I love Malaysia!
