The Maiden Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

The Maiden

It was
When the world was young
That came an angel
Upon a distant land

Nobody knows
To what end
He must have come

But during one
Scary night
As the story unfolds
the sky was lit
With thunder and hail
And there Came a ship
In search of safety
To a unknown land

The waves battered
The rocky shoreline
Climbed a lady
As white as ice

The angel
From above
Had never seen
A spectacle
As sorrowful as this

The lady lay unconscious
For a day or two
And as she slowly revived
Came a shower of sunshine
As beautiful
As she is too

Her cheeks grew red
Her face bright
Her eyes bore a melody
That no strings could find

The angel played softly
Upon the apple tree
As she slept peacefully
Beneath the morning glory

Morning it was
Ever since then
No dark clouds roamed
Upon that land ever since then

Night never came
Nor did afternoon
Morning it was always
As pretty as beautiful

Time stopped passing
The maiden woke up
And she played
And she danced
In a land
where no humans
will ever be

some do say
what I say
is false

but some do believe
love can't be
anymore pure

for you my friends
I leave you to judge
A maiden
She is
And forever was
