The Magpie Poem by Imran Basir

The Magpie

A Magpie,
As we roll the die,
The magpie swoops,
Its wings go straight to the Roots,
Magpies have their brains,
Smaller than cranes,
Though still better,
Even in the wetter,
Even in a sun ray,
As they say,
'Size doesn't matter, wiseness matters'
As pious as light as it is feathers.
