The Magnificent-& The Mundane Poem by Bryan Taplits

The Magnificent-& The Mundane

The cherry blossoms are blooming
Under the sky's cerulean shield,
The trees stand at full-height, their leaves verdant and bright
This world all glistening and clean with appeal.
My stomach growls-and thus wakes my head
This nap lead me to my sup,
Ensconced in my bed
-but I'm feeling unfed-
Well, I guess its time to wake up.
