The Magenta Connection Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

The Magenta Connection

Everyday morning
as I travel by bus
the window commands
the magnificent view
of the munificent pond
flooded with magenta lotus
the paragon of beauty:
with the opulent splendour
the colour matchless
the beauty flawless
I visualize;
Goddess Saraswati
on the magenta petals
radiating with effulgent glow
blessed with the humble wisdom
my day starts
with topnotch confidence.
