I think the strength and power of this poem is that it flows directly from your heart and so has a way of stirring nostalgia in the readers own. For me it conjures a pastel coloured scene of sweet memory and delicate feeling. In all my flakey travels through PoemHunter I have never stumbled across a poet who is able to engage the reader in his experience so consistently. Your skill with language and your soulful sensiblity will ensure you a place alongside your mentor the great Ginsberg.
