1 - I didn't know females could be made Cardinals. Reading this line made me cringe! (i 'love' birds) This one: " Up he flew into death's cold grasp, " I'm glad you used " revelling" , and did not FORCE a rhyme with " wing" . I suppose i could accept, instead, " A victory cry it did sing." (cont.)
The poem tells a beautiful love tale. Each stanza is outstanding. Flawless!
