Dear Michelle, I will agree no perfect man to see. But as for love...........if not tainted by desire then love is pure and free. Dont throw out the love because of him, or you, or anything, it's love that's true not he.

Never feel or admit defeat. Only announce rejection. You did it well, despite the thinness of the line. Good choice of word 'motel' - suggests an appropriate slight tackiness, lack of meaning, transience. t x
