The Lost Hand Poem by Safiyyah Manjra

The Lost Hand

You never know what you really work for,
Until one day you begin to slack off,
See it all slip away because you lost your grip...

This may be short,
However, the experience behind what I am saying is not.

Whether it is the career you took years to build.
Or the relationship that was once filled.

It can even be a dream you almost had.
That's what hurts the most.
When you almost made it a reality.
