The Lord Will See Us Through Poem by Cat Hodgson

The Lord Will See Us Through

All to soon taken away
To a land where angels play
Touching our life with joyful flutter
You'll be missed like no other

Walking shores with sands of gold
Oh the stories, I'll be told
Wishing I could be with you
In that land so dear and true

Some day again your smile I'll see
I'll miss you til that day with thee
But now I must tarry on here
Until the Lord calls me dear

I pray the Lord will see me through
Until my time of calling is due
Sometimes it's hard to understand
But know the Lord has an ultimate plan

But Lord touch us left behind
With your hand, loving and kind
The heart so raw, left to bleed
Give us your shoulder, when in need..
