The Lord, For A Dinner Guest Poem by james watkin

The Lord, For A Dinner Guest

While do these your correctly placed
Of fawned over china, glass
If brittle, in gleaming support
Your fixed idea of class

What stilled for a set of Thinking
As clean-kept, of greater price
If o'erdelicate, do nobly shine
Alone, do His tastes suffice.
