The Lord Asked Me A Question Poem by David Cleveland

The Lord Asked Me A Question

Rating: 5.0

The Lord asked me a question.
I didn't know what to say.
He wanted to know.
If I believe when I pray?

I said. Sometimes I forget to pray.
And to sing your name in praise.
But I do think about you.
Every single day.

I don't pray to win a game.
And I don't pray to be rich.
I never pray for revenge.
Or to find someone in a ditch.

I know you died for our sins.
Then you rose from the grave.
I know you're in heaven with your Father.
I'm not perfect, but I believe when I pray.
