In the loking glass she can just see the figues and figurines of Ajanta, Ellora and Konark, she can see Vatsyayana, Freud and Lawrence.

The story of love is as such, the story of relationship, but tears come to the eyes when the relationships break it when jolted by age and ageing, untimely demise and freak accident taking a toll upon or health hazard.

Our days of love are but short-lived and honeymoon continues it not for long as the relationships break it here.

The fond memory lingers on, continues to be with as long as he is with, but the things start changing drastically from the day he ceases to be a lover. His absence ditches the beloved and conspiracies make the way for.

A feminist writer, she clutches along the man-woman relationship and goes on recreating out of as we see the terracotta plates so and passionate with the figurines and sculptures indulged in love-making.

A Kamaladas brand poem. Man-woman relation is considered by her to be a formal one involving the body only.

In The Looking Glass, is she seeing her face or the beloved her face? Who is whom? The Looking Glass is a poem of man-woman relationship. Is love only sexual, bodily and physical? She asks it. Can the soul be not loved? Why to be a woman?

Reminds me more of scratch and sniff...those perfume papers, a definite poem of today's generation, interesting take in transitions from one look to another

I like her genuineness, candidness and brevity in letting out her inner self, especially in relation to the most intimate male-female relationship one can look forward to. A quality which is rarely only seen among females. Its a treat. Thanks Kamala for the sensual poem. Congrats for your achievement. X

An outstanding poem of sensuality. A large part of human psychology where love and manipulation are intertwined.
