The Long Myth



The Long Myth

Here and now,
is a feisty grandfather to contend with,
to say whatever he please,

of the bright lights coming
from the windows,
still an eye on paintings
unconstrained as alive,

of his aerobic feet
still the tactile tribulation
of walking on the streets,

of this mouthful,
of chocolates still proofs
he's healthy,

In the meantime fear, the unknown factors,
any untreatable disease is final
as any elemental accidents,
like the fatal wounds,

the eyes will have to close for the harm,
the mouth is still on dead press,
on the keypads that bragging
his long life,
