You make a telling point here. The pre-dawn darkness is always a peaceful time, but the day may bring conflicts and trouble. Solitude is everything. I like the photo a lot.
Exactly! Once the sun is up noise and reality set in but sunrise itself is hope.
Enjoyed this poem. I'll reflect on it when I have my coffee tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.
As the lonely man cries for his better half. A crock sometimes in this post modern world.
Oh, The Beauty of your words! ! ! Truly Wonderful painting! Inspirational! ! !
Beauuuuutiful poems, written beautifully! I am in love with your writing!
I can relate to this poem. I am a woman of the morning. I love its quiet solitude and the safety of the tousled sunlight. There is something about the word tousled....love it. It s a sensual word one can luxuriate in before becoming a truly awake person. To think of the sun in a tousled state is unique... and fitting. A very uplifting hopeful poem.
My heart leapt as I read this , full marks you captured exactly how I feel I too love the early mornings Frank I lived in a monastery for many years and rose around 330am every morning It's the lonely time that poets love So succient and so well penned
Thank you for the kind comments here and on several of my poems.3: 30 am is early for me but sunrise is perfect.
What a wonderful poem! I love early mornings. All around is quiet and you can cherish it all alone!
it seems you love early mornings, dewdrops, dawn and that morning is your muse to make you a great poet. i have read a few of your poems and i feel you love mornings n they are best presented in all your poems. Beautiful lines.
I like the idea and your beautfful words. it's about hope when in chaoes. Thank you.
Morning is comfort's muse, the world anew...truly morning is a time of renewed hope n energy. Beautifully put.
Your verse seem formed exactly as a traditional greek verse of thousand years in use.11 or 12 - 15 syllables cut in two.In the second half verse mostly an expansion of the first half verse in meaning [explanation], something more, something different...See this of yours ''Morning is comfort's muse, // the world anew, //the second half adds something more not quite different.I like this metre , as all greeks too, because it gives you the time to absorb meaning and feeling spread.Kudos.
