The Lonely Room Poem by Richard Antwi

The Lonely Room

He lived lonely
His wife passed away
He was struck with an illness
For six years confined he to his bed
Suddenly, admitted back to hospital
Couldn't survive
At his death,
Remained he alone in a small room
Waiting for the undertakers
The most saddest place in death
Alone, cold and isolated!
