The Loneliness Of A Lovely Lady Poem by Dorsey Baker

The Loneliness Of A Lovely Lady

Almost naked in
The clothes that you are wearing
Lovely lady
Too fragile to be broken
Is a heart of stone
Because you cannot bring back
Something that
Is already dead and gone

Lovely lady you look
Out of your window and watch
The rain as it falls
Loneliness is
Your prison walls
