This is a long poem and I hope I have understood the theme. The Living mirror, I think is life itself.

Honestly I wrote it when I was thinking about my parents, how their actions and reactions projected on to myself. The Living Mirror is essentially about being exactly like your parents, and so on. However it is about life as well.

When you can't stand to hear, A person's plea for relief, To hear the broken sobs that rack a person's body, Stiffening their posture to something you don't recognize, Remember, ...... sufferings, struggle, looking for a loving word, comfort, one who rubs the tears off .. these are all human needs. you have written a fine poem. thank you. tony

A good poem, well articulated and penned with insight to capture the essence of the piece and the poet's conviction. A nice poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
