A beautiful write Hazel. Turbulent & torrid early years, nicely crafted into a smooth flowing poem, with each verse significant unto itself. Great rhyme & rhythm too. Enjoyed the read.

So the Lime tree was a symbol... a benevolent presence.. a reminder of the inalienable bond between man and Nature, a shady abode extending soothing comfort for the turbulent, overheated nerves of a teenager! As ever, a fantastic write, Hazel

Very Uplifting poem...Old lime tree stood so calm and cool with all the changing season as well it was growing older too..When we are depressed music and nature really work wonders for us..It's very true..Very beautiful way you have expressed. Loved reading it twice.

Beautiful Hazel - music and nature are two things that can provide peace of mind and relaxation when we are downhearted or stressed. Very well penned.
