The Light Is Within Us Poem by Mystic Qalandar

The Light Is Within Us

Night slips behind veils of stillness,
soundless, obedient to time's rhythm.
The dawn gathers its silvery shawl;
whispers rise from dew-lit fields.
The sun bends low to kiss the earth
with its radiant breast.

Then—across the vast sky—
a thousand birds burst into song.
Their golden streaks of sound
echo the ancient oath of Alast.

The morning hums a hidden melody:
By the sun and its morning brightness,
by the moon as it follows,
by the day as it unveils the world,
by the night as it draws its veil.

In these lines, the cosmos echoes—
eternal, yet never fully grasped.
Mountains bow in modesty,
rivers stream with light,
every stone dissolves in prayer.
The world, trembling in luminous awe,
is born anew, bathed in the brilliance
of its own wings.

And within this flowing light,
our hearts remember the undying flame—
the touch of hope, the breath of love,
the soul of life sleeping in our eyes.
It is the breath once breathed into dust,
that we may become light;
that we may stand as mirrors
to the Name of the One,
made vessels of His radiance
upon the earth.
