The Leviathan Unleashed Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

The Leviathan Unleashed

In depths of night, where darkness reigns supreme,
A creature stirs, its slumber now disturbed.
Leviathan awakes, a monstrous dream,
Its form immense, by ancient legends spurred.

From depths unknown, it rises to the skies,
Its scales agleam, reflecting heaven's light.
With eyes of fire and roars that shake the skies,
It spreads its wings, a terrifying sight.

The oceans tremble at its mighty tread,
As waves recoil in fear and awe-struck dread.
The earth quakes beneath its monstrous weight,
As cities crumble, filled with deep regret.

Leviathan Unleashed upon the world,
A force of horror, terror and pains,
Caused the mountains to wailed,
And the valley flow with an innocent blood.

Oh, Leviathan, unleashed upon the world,
A force of chaos, fierce and unfurled.
In fear we tremble, our hearts with terror filled,
As you lay waste to all that we have built.
