The Lego Man Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

The Lego Man

The LEGO Man

So sad the beginning of Autumn,
none of the sentences completed but still dragging along,

the incomplete narratives of a falling man,
failing in terms of wisdom,
but un regretful after the stint,

All you have proven was the sets of the LEGO pieces as a child assembling the
Ingeniouscastles,

The adulthood was worsts,
Your pawned devils for a set of unfaithful dalliances,

None benevolent but the sense of praising the mighty love,

And your wasted energy to complete life's projects,

None too great with the earnings and the many small compartments of illicit hidden children,

One days of loiters you remember your life onheat of the sun,
fierce trusts of instincts, but all the failing human frailty

The old came from the expended energies of young,

You costliest scents,
starting to come to terms with the beholden age,

Still these inchoate words completes the whole fragility of life concepts,

All dissipating sense of forgiving the impermaments,

The truths shall be stucked on your mouth on your way to tracts of the stars,
