The Legislative Jungle Poem by Eillio Imbasciati

The Legislative Jungle

Rating: 5.0

Refusing to get sick for the legislative jungle,
It does that well enough on its own
Getting your points across,
Shot up with policy,
Some shot down,
Left to nothing else but to take shots
The anger distilled, that fine grain of mistruth,
Brought to one and all by the jungle
Such a virus,
Needing insurance to play the part it was constructed to play
It's good to have a parachute,
When jumping into the jungle and further through life's labyrinth
