The Laughing Ball Poem by Sasikala Kamandula

The Laughing Ball

God filed in the group of four,
Who were gossiping at the shore;
They rubbed their eyes in surprise,
And thought of a fool in guise.
'Failed on stage? ' Laughed a guy.
'For to save thyself you're in fly! '
'Tomatoes, slippers eggs 'n sauce,
Ran over you, in jet speed, Bass..? '
'No, I'm not a failed actor nor a man,
But God in real to bless with boon,
Speak thy wish, what thou to become,
Just wave, I, my wand and thou'll be the same, '
'I wish to be the wealthiest on globe, '
'I want to become the ruler of the World, '
'Make me then, the mightiest as well, '
'And, make me, o God, a Laughing Ball,
That maketh the sad, bubble with joy! '
God smiled and vanished.
Time stole; wealth gone, ruler failed,
But Laughing Ball remained forever,
In all hands, making bliss and joy in the world all over!
