The Last Night Of A Dragon Fly Poem by Raghurama Raju

The Last Night Of A Dragon Fly

Rating: 4.5

A dragon fly, in dazzling lamp light, lost its way
And landed on our window curtain straightaway!
The poor insect, flapping its flimsy wings, writhed in pain!
My frantic efforts to help the creature went in vain!
I woke up early and opened the window to see the fly seek its way
God! An early sparrow picked it up and flew away!

A very nice poem about the struggle for survival in nature. Beautifully crafted. Thanks for sharing.
