The Key To My Heart Poem by Yousif Ibrahim Abubaker Abdalla

The Key To My Heart

You are without a doubt snazzy
You are tender and gracious.
I love everything about you,
But on the whole, I cherish that you are mine.

You wake at dawn with an elevated heart and show gratitude for another day of caring
To rest at the noon spare moment and reflect on love's joy.

Sweetie, you are hard and confident,
And you care not what comes after.
Your arguments fragrant a knell of diamond,
And your eyes delight with a smile.

Crushing on you is like the fuming sea,
So capable and broad it will be for life.
Through cloudbursts, wind, and bulky sleet,

It will soothe every pain.
Your hearts are so neat and so luscious.
I think about you more with every pulse!

While the moon shines in the sky,
When the rain spills fleshy upon the ground beneath.

When the daylight is scorching and fulgent,
When the dew gleams on sod over and over, sheared.

Whatever the day, the moment, the spirit,
I think about how much I admire you.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM: I'm a big fan of poetry, literature, and different forms of art. Composing poems is the only outlet for me to express my feelings and cope with life's ups and downs. I devote my spare time to writing, performing, and enjoying poetry at different events and slams. The poem was written on Sunday,23rd June 2024. This poem captures that before I met you, I was very depressed, felt alone, and didn't know where I belonged in the world. When you came into my life, I finally felt wanted and cared for, and I wanted you to know how much you mean to me. I just want you to understand that without you I probably wouldn't be living to write this right now.
