The Jupiter Poem by Sophie Allyah

The Jupiter

In the Solar System, but not like frantic
Dubbed as the fastest spinning planet
Composed of gaseous and liquid matter
With a diameter of 142,984 km at its equator
The clouds are only 50 kilometers thick
Magnetic field is stronger 14 times fantastic

Like the sixth planet known as Saturn
This celestial body has rings on its own
Only 67 confirmed and named satellites
With 4 major moons largest at sights
lo, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto in survey
Known as Galilean Moons exposed by Galilei

But over 200 moons orbiting this planet
Discovered 1975 during spacecraft first visit
Fifth in line from our yellow dwarf star
It is the largest one in the form of our Solar
You can see it at night with your own eyes
Simply, massive Jupiter is known for its size
