Wonderful.... enjoy writing till the end dear poetess. Loved this poem.
There is joy in memories! ! The older we get the more memories we have!
Where has all my energy gone? I struggle to get out of bed, I search everywhere for my spectacles, ...but no obsession! Peacefully accept whatever comes in your way...a pragmatic write...top score!
I'm old, but, oh, boy! It brings me no joy! ... Actually, I'm not that bad off. I can't run every day like Robert does, though [bad knees, hips and ankles].
Thank you dear Jayne, sweetest poetess ever! 5 Stars full score and myriad more. Gorgeous poem

A very nice depiction of old age.I enjoyed the poem in toto, but the last line is very memorable. Thanks that you are feeling happy despite the aches and pains. Regards to you..
I never grow old as I've been 35 years old for many years now! ! I walk, can run (if I have to) , cycle, have weights at home, do Shaolin qigong and yoga. Every little helps, as they say!
The real feelings of an aging person have been so well expressed in this poem.Every one wants to remain young and energetic, but the hard reality is that we can not.
Yes that's so true Bharati! Thanks for taking time to read my poem x
