A very inspiring poem, loved it. The joy of giving, 'To lighten load that too heavily weighs'- has no parallel.

Give it in cash though kindest give in kind, A gift of willing heart and well inclined, A gift coming from soul— body and mind. Give, the only joy greater than getting, The only joy rarer than receiving, Be the joy of giving and forgetting! - - - -Beautiful thought, beautiful words.

There is a reference to the word 'slippers' in this poem. By oversight I had spelled it as 'sleepers'. A kindly poet pointed it out thru the mail.Blessed be that poet.

When one likes something, loves it, that love may make him a bit blind. I say 'may', but not always.

Now that we are in this time of uncertainty and hardship, I find this beautiful poem more meaningful. Deeply touching and the kindest thoughts embedded in this write will always touch the heart. Liked the opening stanza. Very heartwarming lines. Stay safe and blessed, Sir.

When a poet has to go back to an old poem to comment on, it might mean: the latest poems fail to find muster, are not quite up to much. But thank heavens, you have given a very valid reason for it. Thanks for wishing me well, this world perhaps has gone short of good wishes, which we all need badly.

There is always joy in giving attitude and we should maintain this. Giving quality brightens us like Lord Krishna brightens us giving his grace. We feel his presence. This poem is very lovely! Hare Krishna!

yes, world is a place of give and take, but if we develop an attitude of giving more than taking, world would be a different place. Thanks dear poet.

" A gift of willing heart and well inclined, A gift coming from soul— body and mind" Beautiful lines. The joy is in giving. No argument over it. Sage Dadheechi gifted his back borne live for the world's good. A well written poem- message rich. Good use of form, good diction 10+
