Birth launches the journey to death.....yes, I can think of the two distinct points! The former is visible but the latter is invisible but a point that every person is destined to meet, there is no escape to it. Nothing can I say. I wish you a happy and prosperous new year 2023.

With a lot of good thoughts about you I am wishing you a more splendid and abundant life ahead. As regards the journey of life we should consider ourselves very lucky to have been selected to undergo both pain and peace. The happiness after a sad time is like a sun that shines after the eclipse

Great wisdom in such a succint poem. Poet Nair, I feel like I'm making up for lost time. Your poem has put things in proper perspective. Thank you very much.

I'd have skipped the 'launch' if I'd had any say in the decision! A nice poem, if one agrees with it. I do not believe in 'a target which is eternal'; I'm not sure what that means anyway. Life is sometimes too LONG, and the ending is often not a 'happy' one. : ( bri : )

Thank you Bri. Launch has a meaning 'to start'. Death is sure. But none is concentrating on death. Everybody is toiling to achieve something great, not death.

Thank you very much dear Dr.Dillip. We must be aware of the ephemerality of life and should make use of every moment to brighten it with worthy deeds. Thank you again

Why half day? We can only work at best 12 hours out of 24 hours

One day you were born and one day you will die...in between life and death we are left with just half a day. A great philosophy is hidden in this little poem. Appreciated. Top score and to my favorite!

Thank you dear poet friend. It's a request rather than an advice to be good to ourselves and thereby to others.

So true. So true in just three brilliant and insightful lines. Life is ephemeral, we must make each and every moment of our life worth living
