Nice insightful poem about the comedian who hides his pain through humor. I saw in your bio that you are a spoken word poet...same as slam poet? I can hear how this poem could be effectively performed to enhance its meaning. Each word here seems important as you chose them carefully and did nice job of showing the reader what to focus on in the way you separated the lines, emphasizing certain words more than others.
