The Inviting Poem by Stephen Harris

The Inviting

Rating: 5.0

Above the castle turrets high
Hang stars and moon in wintry sky
Within its walls a welcome light
From windows offer warmth at night
For any stranger at this door
Who seeks safe shelter by the shore

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Written for a contest that had a picture I had to write a poem on. I hope though it stands alone and paints its own little picture in the imagination :)
