I give this 5 stars and hope to find a PH bio for this poet. How the poem's main character's relationship(s) with others changed is startling, but I know mental illness can appear suddenly.
I found this entertaining and wonder about the truth of this poem, BUT....I'm NOT introverted, AND I'm not (NOT) 'crazy', as my wife may call me [and I may call her]! AM I? IS SHE?
I do not know if the author still lives; maybe he never did? Is this 'made-up'... 'Having been fabricated; invented', as some of my poems are, in part at least? ? ?
Re Poet's Notes: I'm sure some could 'empathise/empathize', but I'm sure, for most, 'sympathize' would be the word to use. bri ;)
