You said that you were not a poet... Please pardon me if I disagree... you've shared your self doubts and your desires in this one... and thus bared your soul for all to see... Only a poet has that amount of courage! Well done!

I have learned to look into the heart of what you are saying. Your odd errors of language really do not concern me. I understand what you are saying and like the way you say it. Others know this too and, like me, rate you highly as a poet. Have faith in your own ability, Annette. If you write like this people will listen.

This is what experienced by most of the poets who begin their journey of expressing their thoughts weaving words. Most of us must have gone through this feeling. Very nice. Awesome drop.

You cleverly and colorfully capture the throes of the novice (and experienced) writer, struggling with the doubt of her artistic expression. I love the irony that you have so elegantly expressed your anxiety of effective expression. Bravo, Annette! :) S

A nicely written poem about the insecurity and self doubt experienced by an author while writing.Yes the joy of sharing is a reward in itself.Writing is like a journey towards a goal. The journey is as important as the goal and should be thoroughly enjoyed.
