You be whoever you are and don't take any glibs from anyone who tells you different. If you want to be in a kitchen cookng, then you be that cook. If you want to show the world how tender and caring your heart is, then by all means be that friend. We women don't have the cooking and caring thing all sewed up just for us to do, men can cook and care too. You have bared your soul for us to see and I see a very tender and caring soul in you.
