The Inevitable End Comments

Rating: 5.0

Ignorant of the birth of a promising morn,
Deaf to the serenade of mating birds,
Unable to hearken to the murmurs of joy,
Failing to coherently express basic needs,

This is a beautiful philosophical poem on life and death having touching expression and nice collocation. I quote here........ Know, our life like the sun is sure to set And fail to shed any more illumining light But as the sun rises again with effulgent gleam Our souls from their hide will emerge evermore bright Thanks for sharing.

Know, our life like the sun is sure to set And fail to shed any more illumining light But as the sun rises again with effulgent gleam Our souls from their hide will emerge evermore bright Let us hope and believe in a sunny day after a dark night of life. Even if there is no such dawn, at least the pains of a dusk will appear mild.

The sad decline of this lonely man in his final hours so beautifully written with compassion and understanding! The end has a lovely uplifting feeling with our souls emerging into the light!

A very gentle and loving narrative for a dying man, told with compassion and as a celebration of this life and an as an analogy for the passing of all life. A fine write indeed.

So beautiful and serene even though dealing with the inevitable sadness of life's end. When body goes frail keeping the imagination alive is what opens the door for soul's pleasant journey. Loved it Valsa. Thank you so much for sharing.

Yes death may have its short grip just for a little while. It plunges the soul into utter darkness but the soul will emerge again in the brightness and glory of life never to die again. A very inspiring write that really touched my heart and (soul) . Thank you dear Valsa for this one. Sorrow lasts for just a while but joy comes in the morning.

Five stanzas of pessimistic splendour have been elevated in charm further by the succeeding stanza of the mandatory optimistic conclusion! The poem frowns at the folly of man and at the same time promises him a relief of 'some sort'.The souls emerging from the hide amuse me beyond what I can afford to understand. Kudos to you Madam Valsa for your diction and flow of lines captivating the tale told.

Very very well written, Valsa. Enjoyed reading it. Last stanza is indeed reminiscent of my poem Beyond the Horizon. That apart your poem is indeed excellent. Ever versatile Thomas Robinson has added to its impact. Thanks for sharing.

But as the sun rises again with effulgent gleam Our souls from their hide will emerge evermore bright there's no death, only renewal. A great poem, Valsa.
